Meet The Artist

 

Hey there, I’m Emily!

I started my professional career working on advertising campaigns in NYC. After seven years of working with graphic designers, I was inspired to explore my own creative side.

I fell in love with calligraphy during wedding planning. Wanting every detail to feel personal, I learned modern calligraphy and used it to create our invitation envelopes and place cards.

After saying ‘I do,’ I enrolled in the University of the Arts’ Graphic Design Certificate Program in Philadelphia, where I developed layout skills that continue to influence my artwork today. 

Over time, I was naturally drawn to watercolor with its flowing washes and vibrant hues. It is an escape for me in the crazy world of raising young kids. 

With the encouragement of my wonderful friends and family, I’m excited to share my artwork and skills by applying to Holiday Markets and hosting Art Workshops.

A few fun facts about me…

  1. I have lived in six different states and three countries.

  2. I was named after a storybook character.

  3. Disney World is my happy place.

I have two little ones, and they’ve taught me just how precious time really is.
To protect my mental health and prioritize my family, I’ve chosen to step away from social media.
